This is an opportunity for a hard-working, honest, flexible, dependable, self-motivated person to join Abingdon & Witney College’s Estates department as an Estates Cleaning Team Leader, for the Abingdon Campus. Reporting to the Estates Supervisor, the successful candidate will supervise the cleaning team daily to ensure that there are sufficient cleaning staff to meet each day’s demands, and that all duties are carried out to the college’s cleaning specification.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all cleaning issues and carrying out regular end of shift cleaning audits. Duties are likely to include but not restricted to cleaning of all internal areas of the college to a high standard following the college’s cleaning specification, maintaining the cleanliness of the site, monitor stock levels of cleaning materials and dealing with enquiries from staff and students. Responsible for monitoring staff performance, time keeping and escalating concerns to the Estates Supervisor. You will also be responsible for unlocking/locking up the building. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and supervising a team and have an eye for detail and a hands-on approach to duties.
