Animal Management Technical Instructor
Where you’ll work: This role is based at Hadlow College campus.
Your hours: 37 hours per week (worked on a shift rota basis across 7 days of the week) / 52 weeks per annum.
Your pay: £23,985 - £26,215 per annum

Working within North Kent College’s Animal Management curriculum area, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitability qualified, experienced and passionate individual to join the team as an instructor.
Reporting to the Animal Unit Manager, the post holder is required to provide demonstration and practical instruction in the Animal Management curriculum as well as provide technical assistance to the teaching staff. The postholder will also be responsible for maintaining the Animal Collection including all areas of the animal management unit to ensure that they meet the highest standards as well as present a professional image to students, parents and external stakeholders. The role will also require the post holder to support the animal unit manager in the ordering and management of equipment and consumables such as feed and bedding.
To be considered for this role, you will have the ability to work flexibly on a shift-rota basis with the need to hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in the related area or equivalent, and a first aid certificate (or the willingness to obtain one upon appointment). This position also requires the candidate to hold a driver's license as staff need to be able to drive company vehicles.
