We are recruiting for a full-time experienced and well organised Animal Technician/Instructor to join the team at Common Leys Farm campus. This is an exciting post, giving the successful applicant the opportunity to work across the animal care unit caring for a range of animals and supporting students to develop a high level of employability and practical animal handling skills.

You will be working with a wide range of animals on our animal unit, including reptiles, rodents, birds, paddock animals and farm livestock amongst others.

You should be qualified to a minimum of level 3 in a recognised animal subject and have recent experience of working within animal collections or in a college environment. You must enjoy working with young people and be confident working with and instructing students in a wide variety of routine duties and practical animal husbandry tasks and have experience of working with a wide range of domestic animals.
