Excellent communication skills are essential to engage apprentices and employers. You will be expected to deliver high levels of customer service alongside good time management. You will be highly organised being able to work as an individual and part of a team.
This role is varied with college-based and workplace activity. You must be adaptable and have a flexible approach to successfully be able to deliver apprenticeships. You will be training apprentices in all aspects of their apprenticeship, supporting their journey including developing portfolios of evidence and preparing them for end point assessment. Forming and maintaining effective employer relationships and engagement is key to a successful apprenticeship, understanding the employer needs to be able to develop the apprentice(s) to meet these.
You should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the land-based service engineering industry and hold a minimum of a Level 3 relevant land-based engineering qualification. You must have a passion for the industry and a desire to foster this in others. An excellent and extensive knowledge of practical, theory and safety practices within the land-based engineering industry is essential. An understanding of apprenticeships is desired.
