East Durham College are excited to offer a new job opportunity. The job opportunity is for a food service assistant working within the onsite Starbucks for 31 hours a week. This will be at our Houghall Campus in Durham on a term time basis, fixed term basis until 21/05/2025.
The main responsibility of this role would be to serve internal and external customers in the Starbucks store within Houghall College.
The duties of this role are as follows:
To safeguard and promote the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.
Health & Safety and hygiene practices.
Self presentation.
Excellent customer care.
Preparation of hot & cold from a Barista coffee machine.
Preparation of sandwiches, paninis, cakes and scones,
Rotation of stock control.
Internal & external confectionary, food, drink & non food purchases.
Maintaining the Cleanliness & tidiness of the shop (Daily),
Sales promotions.
Responsible for profitability margins.
Maintaining presentation of the shop.
Money handling.
