For this role, we are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and committed person to be part of our small farm team. You will be keen to work in a teaching environment where our students can gain from constructive practical farm work in support of their learning.
Your valuable and skilled farming experience in general farming practice and ability to work to a high industry standard will ensure our 280ha mixed farm continues to operate as a successful commercial/teaching enterprise.
This challenging role offers a varied and interesting workload for which a positive, flexible and sometimes humorous approach is necessary.

The college doesn’t hold a sponsorship licence therefore we are not open to candidates who require sponsorship under the points-based system.

Status: Permanent

Hours: In the region of 48 hours per week, Monday to Sunday with flexibility to meet business needs and the seasonality of Lambing. Alternative weekend working is required.

Salary: £28,983 per annum which is point 27 on the Weymouth and Kingston Maurward College Salary Scales
