Salary: £16,629.93 - £23,169.53 per annum, pro rata of the full time equivalent (FTE) £27,347 - £38,101 per annum, Academic Grade 4 - 13 (dependant on skills, qualifications, and experience)

Lecturer in Animal Care - Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and informative lectures, practical sessions, and tutorials across a range of Animal Care courses.
Develop and update curriculum materials to ensure they are current and relevant.
Assess and evaluate students’ work, providing constructive feedback to support their learning and development.
Contribute to the planning and development of the Animal Care program, including participation in team meetings and curriculum development activities.
Provide pastoral care and support to students, helping to create a positive and nurturing learning environment.
Stay abreast of the latest industry developments and integrate this knowledge into teaching practices.
Participate in professional development activities to enhance personal and professional skills.
Engage with industry professionals and organisations to enhance the learning experience and employability of students.
Lecturer in Animal Care – You:
We are looking for candidates who are not only experts in their field but also enthusiastic about teaching and mentoring. The ideal candidate will have:
A relevant degree or level 3 vocational qualification in Animal Care or a closely related field.
A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Commitment to continuous professional development.
